#GenYchat is where I noted a link to an article on the Harvard Business Review web site. It is basically about 700 words of Gen-Y bashing, and the general whine, "uuuunnnhhhhhhh, do they HAVE to be heeeeeeeerrrreeuuhhhhhh?" But work is NOT a fraternity. And the whole hazing/pledge-class attitude toward entering the workplace at the bottom of the totem and shutting up is OUT. DATE. ED.

So with EVERYONE straining to "stand out from the crowd," you either get the same guts with different candy coatings, or a mixed bag of mass-produced standard flavors. My point? You don't have INDIVIDUAL anything. Any advice on how to truly stand out instead of re-package?

Considering Twittering?

If you join Twitter without a destination or goal in mind, you will be lost. If you remain lost on Twitter and receive no validation through followers, you soon quit and view your Twitter time as useless to you. Simple enough, and true enough. But not the whole picture.
